You Can Now Video Call Your Volkswagen While It’s Being Serviced
To stay safe, most of us are relying even more on screens in our daily lives. Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is not lagging behind when it comes to embracing the new normal, their new Online Service Booking now allows VW owners to select their preferred dealership, date, and time when it's time to service their rides.
To make the digital experience even more service-centre-like, VPCM has launched Service Cam, a digital service that allows owners to view a detailed walkthrough video of the vehicle produced by the service advisor.

This video will highlight areas of the car not covered by routine maintenance, the owner may decide whether to proceed with the repair or replacement after reviewing the video and the accompanying e-quotation.
To minimize contact, once the vehicle has been handed over, explanation of the invoice will also be done via Service Cam. After making an electronic payment, the customer will be able to collect the vehicle.
Service Cam is a new feature of VW’s #safehands contactless initiatives, where a customer only needs to drop off his/her key, confirm vehicle acceptance and go through the 5-Star Service Check digitally.
For Volkswagen vehicles more than 5 years old, Volkswagen Malaysia offers a Repair Package where owners can save up to RM1,394 and RM992 on shocks and brakes respectively - this package is applicable for front and rear of the car.
For added safety and performance,VPCM also changes the related nuts and bolts as recommended by the manufacturer. All repair works come with a 2-year warranty for extra peace of mind.
