Bookings For The Perodua D55L Starts Today
Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) is taking orders for the D55L SUV, with a booking fee of RM 300.

There are 3 variants available - X, H and AV, with price range starting from RM 62,500, RM 67,300 and RM 72,600, respectively.
"The Perodua D55L is the first model under the Perodua Smart Build blueprint, spearheading breakthroughs for Perodua in style, safety, technology, equipment levels and value," said its president and chief executive officer Datuk Zainal Abidin Ahmad in a statement.
Some of the key features like the Advanced Safety Assist, with Lane Departure Warning and Prevention is available across all variants, while the range topping AV variant gets the additional Lane Keep Control, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The Perodua D55L will be running on a turbocharged engine, mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), with a fuel consumption rating stated at 18.9 km/l. However, rumors were spreading that it would be an 1-litre turbocharged engine.
In terms of accessories, LED headlamps are standard across the range, while H and AV variants get the Adaptive Driving Beam, a 7-inch TFT multi-info instrument cluster and 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with voice recognition.

The X and H variants are available in Glittering Silver, Granite Grey and Cobalt Blue, with the H variant also available in Pearl Diamond White and Pearl Delima Red. The last three colours are new for Perodua. Meanwhile, the AV variant will have all the colours mentioned above except for the Cobalt Blue. At the same time, it has an option of the two Pearl colours coupled with a black roof.
According to a leaked price list, the X variant is priced at RM 62,500, while the H variant is retailed at RM 67,300. As for the range topping AV variant, it carries a price tag of RM 72,600. There is an additional cost of RM 500 for the Pearl colours and an additional RM 800 for the two-tone (pearl colour with black roof) which is only available for the AV variant.
All prices mentioned are the on-the-road prices inclusive of excise duties, sales tax and accessories (car mats, safety triangle and license plate holder). All Perodua D55L is covered by a five years or 150,000 km whichever comes first warranty.
