In an announcement made by Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob yesterday, it was mentioned that permission will be needed in order to enter Putrajaya as the Federal Territory state is currently under Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO).

Despite Selangor and Kuala Lumpur having moved on to the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) starting from March 5, these states will not be permitted to enter Putrajaya.

Datuk Ismail Sabri stated that this will be put in place in order to protect Putrajaya from having new Covid-19 infectivity.

Individuals from Selangor or Kuala Lumpur who wish to enter Putrajaya or from Putrajaya back to Selangor or Kuala Lumpur, will require police permission. However, those travelling for work will need an official letter from their employer.
