Honda Civic Fans, This Is The World Premier Of The All-New Civic Hatchback!
Honda Motor Co. Ltd. has held the world premiere of the all-new Civic Hatchback in Tokyo, Japan, and expected to go on sale fourth quarter of this year.

The company plans to make an official announcement of this new model in August.

Honda unveiled the exterior and interior designs of the all-new Civic Hatchback and announced the advancement made to the car’s dynamic performance at the world premiere, which was held online.
The Japanese carmaker has plans to begin sales of both the hybrid version of the all-new Civic, equipped with the e:HEV; the 2-motor hybrid system, and the all-new Civic Type R, in 2022.

Its exterior looks low and wide. The design team has created a car with excellent frontal visibility by designing the vehicle with coupe-like and flowing proportions. The sharp and sporty look is accompanied by thin LED headlights and a honeycomb grille.

As for its interior, the team pursued the tactile quality of switches and the spatial design, which resonates with its sensibilities. It looks cleaner now, and for the first time, it comes with Bose sound system (of course, this may vary when it is launched in Malaysia).

So far, there were not many details confirmed about the engine specification, but speculations are saying that the Civic Type R may get a plug-in hybrid system. However, we can confirm that the all-new Civic will be mated with either a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a 6-speed manual transmission.

On top of that, the all-new Civic Hatchback will be equipped with the latest Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver assistant technologies. Its upgrades include the front wide-view camera, a high-speed image processing chip, Traffic Jam Assist, Adaptive Driving Beam, amongst others.
So, what do you think about this all-new Honda Civic Hatchback?
