Horrible Accident Causes One Death, While Two Injured!
A three-month-old girl survived being thrown out from a car in an accident at Johor Bahru yesterday.
Citizens found the car upside down and the baby crying on the side of the road while the baby's mother, an Indonesian, was confirmed dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations found that a Nissan Almera car driven by a 58-year-old local man was believed to have lost control before colliding with a road divider at Kilometer 19.2 of the Senai-Desaru Highway, Johor Bahru.
The accident involved three victims.
"The fire brigade only took a few minutes to remove the victim who was in the vehicle safely," said the Johor Jaya Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) Operations Commander and Senior Fire Officer II M K Haridas.
The driver suffered a slight injury in the head and hands while the baby sustained head injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
