Chevron Launches CaltexGO App In Klang Valley For Seamless Fuel-up Experience!
Chevron Malaysia Limited (“Chevron”) recently launched a new mobile payment app under the Caltex brand called CaltexGO. The app will allow for a more convenient way for motorists on the go to pay for fuel, earn and redeem JOURNEY™ card BPoints, locate a service station, and view their electronic receipts.
To make a payment using the app, motorists only have to launch the app with a registered payment card and JOURNEY™ card, indicate the station and pump number and fuel up according to their preferred amount. Not only that, but they can also check BPoints and redeem them for fuel before making the payment!
“At the very heart of the CaltexGO implementation is our customers. More than just delivering quality products and services, our priority is to improve our customers’ experience and continue their journeys on the road. And with CaltexGO, motorists who are keen to get in and out of the service station can now fuel up, skip the queue, and pay,” said Country Chairman of Chevron Malaysia Limited, Jay Gomez.
For the development process of CaltexGO, the company gathered feedback from users in neighbouring countries such as Singapore and Thailand, as well as Caltex family and friends trial users.
At the moment, the app is only available at Caltex stations in the Klang Valley. However, the app will be available to other parts of the country within the first half of 2022.
It is advised that motorists only use their phones when the engine is switched off, when inside an enclosed stationary vehicle or when inside the convenience store. Customers should focus on refuelling and always be aware of their surroundings.
In addition to that, users will also get to enjoy attractive rebates and rewards with app-exclusive benefits. An RM5 cashback will be given to first time users who pump a minimum of RM30 worth of fuel at Caltex, on top of an RM5 cashback when they pump a minimum of RM30 on subsequent visits (capped at two times per user at RM10 cashback throughout the promo period ending 31 December 2021).
The CaltexGO app is available on Google Play or Apple’s App Store.
