To All Nissan X-Trail 2.0L Hybrid Owners, You Are Summoned For A Voluntary Product Recall
Attention all Nissan customers, Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) and Tan Chong Ekspres Auto Servis (TCEAS) is calling for a voluntary product recall for the Nissan X-Trail 2.0L Hybrid variant.
This campaign is only for the said variant and of which manufactured between June 2018 to May 2021. Whereas, the variant manufactured from June 2021 onwards are not affected.
To clarify, it is to enhance its ‘Engine Room Harness’, i.e., the Hybrid Power Line, as it may be damaged due to interference with the edge of the engine or transmission control module bracket.

As such, customers with the model variant will be notified directly through TCEAS by letter, or SMS/Whatsapp, and are encouraged to call the nearest TCEAS outlet for an appointment.
Fret not, as vehicle ownership might have changed over the years, current owners of this model are also reminded to make appointments with the nearest TCEAS outlet.
On top of that, selected TCEAS outlets have extended operation hours and are open 365 days a year, making it easier for customers to service their vehicles on weekends and public holidays.

Most importantly, all labour, services and enhancement parts for this campaign will be at no cost to owners.
That said, ETCM and TCEAS would like to reassure the customers’ confidence and peace of mind is of utmost importance to them, and deeply regret any inconvenience caused.
All in all, for more information, customers can call Nissan Customer Care Centre Hotline at 1800-88-3838.
