PROTON Unveils Limited Edition Series
Proton Holdings Bhd, the second largest national carmaker, has introduced four Special Edition models at a virtual launch.
The four special edition models are the Persona, Exora, Iriz and Saga.
These models come with unique cosmetic touches on the exterior and interior of the vehicle but don't have any changes in terms of performance or engine specifications.
Both the Persona and Exora Black Edition are finished in black with gold accents that bring out the noteworthy improved bumpers and alloy wheels.

The interior of the vehicles are wrapped in black leather for the seats, while the door trims and floor console of the Persona brings in the black treatment for the headlining. At the same time, the Exora comes with an overhead monitor.
Other than that, each vehicle from the Special Edition series comes with the unique R3 livery used on PROTON’s race cars. The Proton Iriz is equipped with 16-inch R3 alloy wheels. However, the Proton Saga is equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels along with a matte grey finish.

The interior of the models comes with a one-of-a-kind black and yellow interior, along with leatherette seats and R3 carpet mats.
“By launching four Special Edition models today, PROTON is giving its customers more choices. These are products manufactured in Malaysia targeted to Malaysian car buyers and are reminders that PROTON is and always will be a ‘full-service’ car manufacturer with the ability to design, develop and build our own cars from a clean sheet of paper,” said En. Roslan Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer, PROTON Edar.
The models range from the Proton Saga R3 Limited Edition, Proton Iriz R3 Limited Edition, Proton Persona Black Edition and the Proton Exora Black Edition. Prices are RM42,300, RM52,900, RM54,700 and RM67,800 respectively.
