Shipped Above 60,000 Units of Chery
Chery carmaker recorded an excellent sales growth through the launch of new products and technologies, plus the constant creation of more value for its customers although dealing with global chip shortage issues.

It’s also a way for the carmaker to strive towards its annual export targeting 400,000 vehicles, in achieving its globalisation strategy.
Chery’s global outreach continues to accelerate as the carmaker sold 60,419 vehicles in February including 19,997 units sold outside China. Total sales for the first two months of 2022 accumulated to 147,459 vehicles, comprising exports of 46,897 vehicles.

In Brazil, Chery once again ranked as one of the top nine in the passenger car segment with a volume of 3,241 vehicles in February, based on National Motor Vehicle Distribution Federation (Fenabrave) data.
Meanwhile, Chery’s February sales rose to 63 percent year-on-year, netting it a 7.7 percent market share. The company ranked second among other automotive companies, whilst the Tiggo 2 range pioneered as the first SUV segment in Chile.

Its year-to-date sales now stands at 6,372 units, accounting for 3.36 percent of the passenger car market. The Arrizo 6 Pro came out fourth in the car segment with a 5.35 percent market share, and the Tiggo 5X Pro launched in February to much fanfare.
The company now has over 10 million Chery users globally, including 2 million users outside China. With six research and development (R&D) bases, 10 overseas manufacturing plants and over 1,500 overseas sales and service outlets, the carmaker has a total overseas production capacity of 200,000 units a year.
