The ‘Michelin Asia Cup Powered By Gran Turismo’, Calling On All E-Racers In Malaysia

Hear ye, hear ye! Michelin is calling on all e-racing gamers to contest for a chance at representing Malaysia at the ‘Michelin Asia Cup Powered by Gran Turismo’.
Exhilaratingly, the cup is an e-racing competition, which will use the ‘Gran Turismo’ game running in Sport mode, played on the PlayStation 4 platform.
Return of the annual event will see gamers contesting for the cup with contestants from Thailand, Indonesia, and Australia.

First off, to be part of the cup, interested contestants can register for the qualifying rounds that runs from now until July 8 2022, at https://gperacing.com/michelin/.
Next, all registered contestants are required to submit their best qualifying round time from July 11 to 15, 2022.
Then, the top six contenders with the fastest lap time will be declared on July 20, 2022 to represent Malaysia in the Semi-Finals, racing with the top six from the three aforesaid countries.

Semi-final rounds fall on August 4, 2022, from 5pm onwards. A total of 24 semi-finalists, six gamers each from the four countries will be divided into two groups, each consisting of 12 gamers.
The six fastest gamers of each group will advance to the final round that starts on August 26, 2022, from 8pm onwards.
Said final round will be broadcasted live via Michelin Malaysia’s official Facebook account and social media channels. The top three winners will be officially announced on August 30, 2022.

As for the spoils, the grand prize winner will win an all-expense paid trip to explore Michelin’s world of passion for motorsports and mobility.
Which will be held at the Michelin Passion Experience (MPE) event, happening this year at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Meanwhile, the first runner-up will win a full set of tires, and the second runner-up will receive a fuel card worth more than RM 1,500.

What’s more, the first 500 contestants in Malaysia to register for the cup will each receive exclusive Michelin merchandise.
That said, the grand prize winner must have a racing license or a driving license, valid at least until September 9, 2022, to be eligible to claim the prize.
