![]()
Offering its locals with a seamless and fun driving experience, Nissan Brunei presents the all-new SUV, Nissan Magnite.
It is a subcompact crossover SUV, designed and tested in Japan at Nissan Tochigi Proving Ground, where other models such as the Nissan GT-R and Nissan Ariya have been tested.
Boustead Sdn. Bhd’s executive manager, Lim Jin Lee, said, "Brunei is very excited to welcome an all-new SSUV that will give both performance and fuel efficiency. This car is suitable for those who has an active lifestyle that constantly needs things moving on the go.”

First off, it is being offered in two variants. The Magnite Upper variant with a manual transmission, and the Magnite Premium CVT with an auto transmission.
Both variants sport a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine that produces 99 HP, but the Upper MT variant has 160 NM of torque, whereas the Premium CVT has 152 NM of torque.

Next, in terms of the exterior, the Magnite exudes a confident and agile stance while still appearing vibrant and youthful.
The front end features an edgy-looking grille with Nissan's new brand emblem, which gives the Magnite a striking SUV presence.

Then, it comes with a full LED light package, where the front gets L-shaped DRLs that sit below the stylishly slim LED headlamps, while the rear gets a set of white split signature tail lights.
Elsewhere, it features silver front and rear bumper skid plates, and its functional roof rails can load up to a maximum weight of 50 KG.

Complementing its overall demeanour, it rides on a set of 16-inch wheels, and sports a 205 MM of ground clearance.
Other than that, it comes with seven colour options that includes two dual-tone configurations but for the Premium CVT only. They are Pearl White or Flare Garnet Red with Black top
.
Meanwhile, the remaining five are monotone paint options. E.g., Storm White and Flare Garnet Red (Upper MT only), Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Sandstone Brown.
Interior-wise, the five-seater Magnite has a spacious layout, especially with its high seating position and wide shoulder space between the driver and front passenger.

Furthermore, its cargo space can load up to 336-litres, which is enough to carry daily essentials and luggage for any type of outing.
As for the tech, it is equipped with an eight-inch infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seven-inch digital instrument display screen for the driver.

Safety-wise, overall, the Magnite features Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC).
Whereas for variant specific, it adds on a rear-view monitor for the Upper MT, and an around-view monitor for the Premium CVT.
Lim concluded, “Nissan Magnite will deliver most requirements with no doubt. We really hope all of our customers will be very satisfied with such an excellent product."
