BMW X7 M Sport Officially Launched in Malaysia for RM728K

The unprecedented demand for performance luxury SUVs has prompted even the purebreds of sports car manufacturers like Ferrari to come up with their own iteration of said genre. For established luxury SUV makers like BMW, such emerging markets posed a lucrative opportunity to performance-badge their base models. Because, even the riches got to ‘cheat’ their way to look like one.

The 7-seater X7, biggest amongst BMW’s SUVs, has been given the M treatment in this brand-new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport. BMW Malaysia’s latest hotshot is poised to join its upcoming purebred M siblings, the BMW XM, to further boost BMW’s performance line-ups.

Locally assembled in BMW’s Kulim Plant, the X7 M Sport arrives fully-equipped with the M Aerodynamics package consisting of proprietary M badges and new aggressive body kits. In addition to that, new 22-inch 758 M Alloy wheels complete the overall exterior makeup.
This 7-seater SUV also comes equipped with M Sport brake – a little taste of what the true M performance upgrades has to offer.

Stepping inside and you won’t be missing any of the previous X7’s luxury offerings. Fine wooden trims, glass central consoles and leather finishing adorn the interior lavishly. Harman Kardon Surround Sound system is the cherry on top, with the addition of M Sport leather steering wheel constantly reminding drivers that this is no ordinary X7 they’re driving.

Vernasca leather upholstery wrapped around all of its seven seats now comes with three colour options – Vernasca Cognac, Coffee and Black. Panorama Glass Sky Roof offers passengers on both end rows stunning sky views, on top of the well-decorated cabin.
Standard Driving Assists features such as Active Cruise Control, Parking Assists with 360˚ camera setup and Start-Stop function all made standard for this M Sport variant. The all-wheel xDrive driving system also comes standard, in addition to BMW’s Executive Drive Pro and Integral Active Steering.
Powering the xDrive40i is a 3.0 L TwinScroll turbocharged I6 power mill that produces around 340 HP and 450 NM of maximum torque that pairs with BMW’s 8-Speed Steptronic Sports Automatic gearbox. Mediocre numbers compared to its M-powered PHEV counterparts, the XM.

Offering an M Sport exclusive Arctic Grey Brilliant Effect paint job, the new X7 also comes with standard colours such as Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Manhattan Metallic.

Priced at RM728,800 OTR, new BMW x7 xDrive40i M Sport owners will also get:
- BMW 5-year Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service Programme
- BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline
- BMW Group Loyalty+ Mobile App – BMW Privileges Card
- BMW Service Online
To help realising BMW fans’ dream of owning one, this X7 M Sport is made available with BMW’s Easy Drive Financing Plan. Monthly instalment plan for this brand-new X7 starts at RM8,800 based on estimates of a 5-year tenure at 80% loan.
For additional inquiries on this new X7 M Sport, customers can visit their nearest authorised BMW showrooms nationwide or go to BMW Malaysia’s official website.
