Essential Things To Have In Your Car During The Monsoon

The monsoon season is here and it's more important than ever to be prepared for the worst-case scenario when the skies turn grey. To assist you in doing the same, we've compiled a list of critical items we recommend you keep in your car as part of an emergency kit during the monsoon.
1. Keep an umbrella
An umbrella is a must-have item for your car during the monsoon season.
During entry and exit, an umbrella will keep people dry. People who get soaked in the rain will leave moisture on the seats and carpets, which must be dried soon as they absorb water or they will begin to smell.
Remember to Keep a plastic bag nearby for storing the wet umbrella.
2. medical kit, food, and water
A first aid kit can be useful for cuts and bruises when needed. Meanwhile, Biscuits and energy bars will satisfy your hunger if you're in a traffic jam for several hours.
3. Power bank
With our lives becoming increasingly dependent on gadgets, you can never have enough of these. Invest in a power bank with a huge capacity that can charge your devices at least twice.
Your smartphone is a newspaper, map, GPS navigation device, phone and so much more, all rolled into one. Make sure it has enough juice to last an emergency
Make it a permanent part of your car's emergency kit, and check the charge state on a regular basis.
4. Multi-purpose toolkit
A compact multi-purpose toolkit takes up little space in your trunk and can be incredibly useful in getting you out of a problem. A couple of wrenches, a screwdriver, and a spanner, among other tools, should suffice. Include a set of jumper cables in your toolkit as well.
5. Flashlight
A flashlight is a vital item to have in your vehicle. A powerful flashlight will help if you are stuck on the road due to weather or a breakdown. At the same time, bring an extra set of batteries to power the torch or other equipment.
6. Clean windscreen
During the monsoon season, dirty windshields are typical. Remove any dirt from the windshield before operating the wiper to avoid leaving scratches on the glass. A bottle of water and a cloth are helpful. Pour water on the windshield and clean it with a cloth. Use the wipers to clear up the glass.
7. Change of clothes & towel
Make sure you have another pair of clothes to change into. Anything made of a quick-drying substance is preferable. Alternatively, you might bring a towel that absorbs water and quickly dries your seats. Also, carry a couple plastic bags with you to store the damp items.
8. Extras
You must always carry a few useful spares in your car so you can escape a tight circumstance. Spares like bulbs, fuses, a warning triangle, a jack, a wheel spanner, work gloves, and a lubricant that can clean rust from corroded regions of the car are all recommended.
