Malaysia Driving Licence Can Be Renewed Up To 10 Years Validity
Credit: BFM News
Malaysian motorists can now renew their driving licence for up to ten years, up from five years previously. According to Transport Minister Anthony Loke, the public can begin applying for 10-year driving licence renewals on Monday at Road Transport Department offices and counters across the country. Those who want to renew their licence for up to ten years should make sure their remaining licence validity is less than a year, according to Loke.
"The general public can now renew their driving licence yearly or for up to ten years." "Only those who chose to renew their licence for the full ten years will receive a free renewal fee for the tenth year."
"This initiative is only for Malaysians." "This initiative is not open to foreigners or long-term pass holders," he said.
