UMW Toyota Records Positive Sales Number in July 2023
UMW Toyota Motor(UMWT) has recorded a positive sales number in July this year, selling up to 8,349 units of vehicles last month alone. From said total sales volume 8,200 of them came from Toyota, while the rest (149 units) are all from Lexus.

Compared to July last year, the monthly sales recorded in July 2023 is 25.8% higher, which also reflects in the positive July 2023’s year-to-date (YTD) sales, which has increased by 8.5% compared to July 2022’s YTD volume.

To cope with this growing sales record, UMWT has further expanded its dealership network in the country by opening a new Toyota 4S centre operated by long-serving Toyota dealer partner E.S. Yang Motor. Located at Jalan Dato’ Haji Kosai, Muar, Johor, this new 4S centre encompasses up to 14 service bays and 20 Body and Paint bays.
Over in East Malaysia, Armada KK Automobile – a Sabah-based Toyota dealer partner – has recently expanded its Jalan Penampang showroom from 1S to 3S. With up to 18 service bays, this new outlet now offers both Sales and Service to Toyota customers living in Penampang or surrounding Kota Kinabalu area.
