Penang Bridge Will Be Temporarily Closed On Dec 17 For Marathon
Sunday, December 17, from 12.01 am to 10 am, will see a temporary closure of the Penang Bridge due to the 2023 Penang Bridge International Marathon.
After the marathon, at 10 a.m. on the same day, PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) said in a statement that the bridge would reopen and operate normally. PLUS advised people to follow all posted instructions and signboards and to use the Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge (Second Penang Bridge) as a backup.

The X @PLUSTrafik app, PLUS app, Chatbot PUTRI, and electronic message signs at specific locations are the ways that motorists can access the most recent traffic information, it continued.
In case of an emergency, drivers can also reach assistance by calling the PLUSLine at 1800-88-0000.
