Price Increases for Lotus Eletre and Emira - Weak Malaysian Currency To Blame!
-full.jpg)
Lotus Cars Malaysia, the exclusive franchise holder for Lotus cars in Malaysia, has made immediate updates to the pricing of its fully-electric Eletre Hyper-SUV and the premium Emira sports car. These changes are in response to recent fluctuations in the Malaysian ringgit against major foreign currencies.
After the initial price indication was provided during the Malaysian launch in April, here are the revised suggested retail prices:
- The mid-range Eletre S now has a suggested retail price of RM698,000 (previously RM648,000). This pricing applies to both Peninsular Malaysia and Langkawi.
- The top-tier Eletre R is now priced at RM838,000 (previously RM798,000).
- Pricing for the base Eletre is still not available as it is expected to be made available here only in 2025.

A limited number of units are still available at the introductory price of RM998,800 on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The Emira V6 First Edition now costs RM1,289,000 in Peninsular Malaysia (previously RM1,205,800) and RM529,000 in Langkawi (previously RM478,800).
- The automatic version of the Emira V6 First Edition is now priced at RM1,309,000 in Peninsular Malaysia (previously RM1,225,800) and RM539,000 in Langkawi (previously RM493,800).
