Official: Honda CR-V e:HEV RS Price Announced – RM195,900

Honda Malaysia has announced the official price for the sixth-gen CR-V 2.0L e:HEV RS
Following the arrival of the sixth-gen Honda CR-V late last year, Honda Malaysia has officially announced the official price for the range-topping spec of its flagship SUV model, the CR-V e:HEV RS. This model's arrival also marks the further expansion of the firm’s e:HEV hybrid lineup, aside from being the first CR-V to boast a partially-electrified powertrain setup.

Unlike the lower-spec turbocharged models, the CR-V e:HEV RS uses the same e:HEV hybrid powertrain as the Civic e:HEV RS, comprising a 2.0-litre 4-cyl nat-asp Atkinson Cycle petrol mill that acts as a generator for its two hybrid electric motors. Mated to an e-CVT gearbox, this setup delivers a total system output of 184 PS and 335 NM, with a total of three driving modes available to choose from.

The CR-V e:HEV RS gains several styling bits and additional equipment on both the interior and exterior
On the visual front, the CR-V e:HEV RS gains a slew of additional parts and styling bits over other low-spec models. Key highlights include the full LED headlights with active cornering lights, an active shutter grille feature on the lower front bumper, black front grille with honeycomb inserts, a set of roof rails, body-coloured front and rear bumpers, chromed tailpipes, and the 18-inch alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black.
As per any other e:HEV RS models, the top-spec CR-V also gets blue-hued Honda emblems and special RS badging placed on both its front and rear ends.

Inside, the CR-V e:HEV RS also gets some additional equipment over other variants while offering the same spacious and comfortable cabin space. This includes the RS-specific all-black upholstery with red stitching, a bigger 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster with a dedicated head-up display (HUD), a 9-inch central infotainment display with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a wireless charging pad, two USB ports in the front and rear, plus the novel 12-speaker Bose premium audio system.

Similar to other variants of the CR-V, the e:HEV RS model is offered with a five-seat layout only, meaning that it’ll get the same 589-litre boot capacity, plus reclinable and slidable rear seats for better rear passenger comfort.

On the safety front, the new CR-V gets a full suite of Honda Sensing ADAS functions, which adds the new Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) function on top of the eight current ones. Aside from the Honda LaneWatch, the CR-V e:HEV RS also supports Honda Connect mobile service and the novel Honda Smart Key Card. Other passive safety features, like eight airbags and a 360-degree multi-view camera system, are all available in this top-spec SUV model.

Tagged at RM195,900 the CR-V e:HEV RS is the most expensive variants of the sixth-gen SUV model
Now available for order, the new, top-of-the-line Honda CR-V e:HEV RS is tagged at RM195,900 on-the-road, with said price inclusive of a 5-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty and five times free labour service provided by Honda Malaysia. This RS model has completed the sixth-gen CR-V lineup in our local market, which starts at RM159,900 for the baseline S variant, RM169,900 for the E spec, and RM181,900 for the upper-mid V spec.
