Launched: Neta X EV – CBU, 3 Variants, From RM119,900

Neta Malaysia welcomes the new Neta X EV SUV at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024, priced from RM119,900.
Intro Synergy Sdn Bhd (ISSB), the official importer and distributor of Neta EVs in Malaysia, has launched its second-ever model at the ongoing Malaysia Autoshow 2024 (MAS 2024), known as the Neta X. For our local market, this EV SUV is available in three guises, namely the 400 Comfort, 400 Luxury, and 500 Luxury.

Design-wise, the Neta X stood as a pretty sporty EV SUV, featuring the latest design cues from the brand. Key exterior highlights include the dual-stack LED headlights, full-width LED taillights, sleek coupe SUV roofline, and the 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels the EV SUV rides on.
Positioned as a C-segment EV SUV, the Neta X measures 4,619 MM in length, 1,860 MM in width, and 1,628 MM in height, with a wheelbase of 2,770 MM. In contrast, the BYD Atto 3, with which it competes directly, measures 4,455 MM long, 1,875 MM wide, 1,615 MM tall, and has a 2,720 MM wheelbase.

Thanks to its segment-leading wheelbase, the Neta X boasts spacious cabin and cargo spaces, with the standard boot space measuring 508 litres, which can be further expanded to over 1,300 litres once you fold down the rear seats.

Besides the comfy leatherette-wrapped seats, the Neta X gets a slew of tech amenities, with key highlights including the large 15.6-inch central infotainment screen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, power-adjustable front seats, multiple USB-C ports, and an expansive panoramic sunroof.

Differentiating the Comfort and Luxury variants are several additional cabin items, such as the welcome and memory functions for the driver’s seat, a wireless charging pad, the powered tailgate, as well as up to 15 ADAS functions that allow for a Level 2+ semi-autonomous driving.

On the battery front, the Malaysian-spec Neta X comes with two battery options, with the lower-spec 400 Comfort and 400 Luxury models getting the smaller 52.49-kWh battery pack that is good for a decent 401 KM of NEDC range. Meanwhile, the top-spec 500 Luxury variants get a bigger 64.14-kWh unit that grants them a farther NEDC range of 480 KM.
Regardless of variants, all Malaysian-bound Neta Xs are powered by the same front-mounted (FWD) electric motor rated at 160 HP and 210 NM. This allows the Neta X to accelerate from 0-100 KM/H in 9.5 seconds, en route to its limited V-Max of 150 KM/H. Drivers will be given three selectable driving modes to choose from (Eco, Sport, and Comfort), including a dedicated one-pedal driving mode.

Fully-imported (CBU) from China, the all-new Neta X is now available from RM119,900 for the baseline 400 Comfort, RM124,900 for the mid-spec 400 Luxury variant, and RM139,900 for the range-topping 500 Luxury model.

On top of that, customers who book the Neta X at MAS 2024 are entitled to freebies worth more than RM2,000. These include the option to choose either a free wallbox charger or a 1-year free charging subscription with ChargEV, plus a complimentary Neta merchandise pack.
