Betamek, ITPSB Team Up To Develop Next-Gen Automotive Solutions
The Institute of Technology PETRONAS Sdn Bhd (ITPSB), a division of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, and Betamek Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Betamek Research Sdn Bhd (BRSB) have signed a research collaboration agreement (RCA) to develop an innovative project called "SafeSync360: Next-Gen Infotainment with Child Guard Technology."
Together, the organizations will push the limits of automotive infotainment and safety by combining state-of-the-art technology that puts children's safety and wellbeing first in cars while also offering educational entertainment options and content. "The SafeSync360 project is a testament to our dedication in developing advanced technologies that enhance the safety and experience of vehicle occupants, particularly children. We look forward to the successful completion of this project and the positive impact it will have on our future product offerings,” Betamek executive director Muhammad Fauzi Abd Ghani said. According to Muhammad Fauzi, the SafeSync360 project is a step forward in the development of cutting-edge automotive solutions that not only entertain but also safeguard passengers.

"The SafeSync360 project is a testament to our dedication in developing advanced technologies that enhance the safety and experience of vehicle occupants, particularly children.
As agreed upon by both parties, Betamek Research will be the owner of all intellectual property (IP) resulting from the collaboration, including any inventions, procedures, processes, designs, plans, drawings, and scientific, technical, or engineering data or documentation created during the project.
