Malaysians intending a quick trip to Thailand for the Labour Day weekend are reminded to complete their digital arrival card application starting Thursday, May 1st, as stated on the Tourism Thailand website.

"Starting May 1, all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand by air, land, or sea must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before arrival," it says, adding that visitors must register within three days before arrival.

TDAC is a system designed to digitize arrival cards, moving away from paper-based processes. This technology aims to accelerate immigration procedures, reduce reliance on physical paperwork, and enhance border efficiency and security.

The digital arrival card is available online at no cost. However, certain travellers are exempt: those transiting or transferring flights within Thailand without going through immigration, and individuals entering the country using a Border Pass.
To do so, visit http://tdac.immigration.go.th and complete the online registration. The application requires travel documents, passport details, personal information, travel plans, accommodation details in Thailand, and a health assessment from the Ministry of Public Health. 494078680_1268584787961115_5472661194170154468_n.jpg
