Chery TIGGO CROSS HEV Grand Prize Winner Announced
Joan Gan Cherl Wean has won a Chery TIGGO CROSS Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) in Chery Malaysia’s Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle (PHEV) Test Drive Lucky Draw. The contest drew over 1,300 participants, with the winner announced live on Chery Malaysia’s social media platforms.
Gan, a Chery TIGGO 7 PRO owner for over a year, entered the contest during a routine service visit to the Chery Klang outlet.
She said she was initially skeptical when contacted by the sales team about her win. “I had to excuse myself from a meeting to answer the phone. At first, I thought it was a prank, but they sent me the video of the live draw to confirm it,” she added.

The contest ran from 9 December 2025 to 6 January 2026. Participants qualified by test-driving any Chery PHEV and submitting a photo of themselves with the vehicle. Prizes included household electronics, gadgets, and the grand prize vehicle, with total rewards valued at up to RM200,000.
Gan said the timing of her win was ideal, as her husband had been considering switching to an SUV. “It’s the perfect opportunity for our family to add another vehicle,” she noted.
The prize handover ceremony was attended by Gan and her mother, with other family members present to celebrate the win. This marks Gan’s first time winning a contest of this scale.
Chery Malaysia stated the contest aimed to give potential buyers hands-on experience with its PHEVs. Test-driving the vehicles allows participants to better understand the hybrid technology and evaluate if it meets their needs.

While the TIGGO CROSS HEV was the headline prize, other participants also walked away with various electronics and appliances, making the contest one of Chery’s largest year-end customer engagement campaigns
