ChargeSini Slashes DC Fast Charging Rates Across Malaysia To Accelerate Nationwide EV Adoption

ChargeSini Smart 80kW DC Charger
In a major move to make electric vehicle (EV) ownership more affordable and accessible for everyday Malaysians, leading charge point operator (CPO) ChargeSini has announced a significant price reduction across its direct current (DC) fast-charging network.
Designed to remove cost barriers for both urban commuters and high-rise dwellers, the new pricing structure reduces energy tariffs per kilowatt-hour (kWh) across condominium chargers as well as public DC fast-charging hubs.
With this price slash, ChargeSini drops its condo DC charging and public DC40 rates to an ultra-competitive RM1.19/kWh. Meanwhile, higher-capacity public fast chargers ranging from 60kW to 80kW see their tariffs reduced to RM1.29/kWh, giving EV drivers lower running costs across one of the country's fastest-growing CPO networks.
1. Lowering Barriers for High-Rise Residents

One of the biggest pain points for electric vehicle adoption in Malaysia has been high-rise residential charging. Apartment and condominium owners often lack access to dedicated home wallboxes, relying on communal chargers or expensive public hubs.
By reducing all condominium-located DC chargers down to RM1.19/kWh, ChargeSini allows condo dwellers to rapidly top up their batteries at home at a fraction of standard commercial costs.
2. Uniform and Transparent Pricing Across Public Hubs

In addition to residential nodes, ChargeSini has streamlined its public fast-charging tariffs. Entry-level DC40 kW units now start from RM1.19/kWh (down from RM1.29/kWh).
Mid-tier and high-output stations, spanning DC60 kW up to DC80 kW, have been consolidated under a single, simplified rate of RM1.29/kWh. Prior to this revision, DC80 units commanded tariffs of RM1.49/kWh, making the new update a notable price cut for drivers seeking fast mid-day top-ups.
3. Accelerating Malaysia's EV Ecosystem
Cutting DC fast-charging tariffs directly addresses one of the biggest hurdles to electric vehicle adoption: operating costs. By making public and residential fast charging more affordable, ChargeSini gives internal combustion engine (ICE) drivers a compelling financial reason to make the switch.
Paired with its expanding nationwide network and smart app-controlled parking barriers that prevent non-EVs from blocking charging bays, this price cut solidifies ChargeSini's status as one of Malaysia’s most accessible and reliable CPOs.
