Introducing new colour choices in the City and Accord, Honda Malaysia presented Red Metallic and Meteoroid Gray Metallic for the first time ever. According to the managing director and chief executive officer of Honda Malaysia, Ms. Madoka Chujo said the colours are well accepted by the market and the company is offering it to the All-New Civic model.

By replacing the existing Modern Steel Metallic to Meteoroid Gray Metallic both models, Honda City is also designed to a more attractive Ignite Red Metallic colour where previously was Passion Red Colour.

“The new colours further emphasise the styling of the City and elevate the sleek profile of the Accord. We will continue to enhance our products to deliver the Joy of Buying to the customers.” she added.

Standing with Honda’s best-selling models in January 2022, more than 32,000 units of City have been sold with 38 percent contribution to the company’s overall sales in that period.

The 5th Generation City sold for more than 32,500 units on Malaysian roads since it was first debuted while Honda Accord has been distributed to over 2,200 units to date featuring an enhanced 1.5L VTEC Turbocharged engine that offers 199 hp and maximum torque of 260 Nm, more powerful than a 2.4L engine performance.

Another major highlight includes Honda City petrol variants of V-SENSING, V, E and S that gives 1.5L Sports Multi-Mode Drive (i-MMD) which transmits 119 hp and 145 Nm torque of power.

Yet, Honda City RS e: HEV variant carries a power output of 107 hp and segment-leading 253 Nm torque that is equivalent to a D-segment Naturally Aspirated engine torque performance
