IAM – MIME 2024 Will Be Held On 8-9 June 2024
This year's International Automodified (IAM) and Malaysia International Motor Expo (MIME) will take place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on June 8-9, 2024, and will also mark the 20th anniversary of the Malaysian Car of the Year Awards (COTY), which will honor the best new vehicles in 2024.

IAM has six international stopovers planned in 2024, with Kuala Lumpur serving as the inaugural round. IAM will launch in Kuala Lumpur, then travel to Surabaya, Indonesia from July 20–21, and finally, on August 24, make its American debut in California. The remaining dates for the show are September 28–29 in Singapore, November 30–1 in Jakarta, Indonesia, and December 7-8 in Bangkok, Thailand, for the finale.

IAM is recognized as the largest car tuning and lifestyle competition in Southeast Asia. Since its inception in 2001, the show has traveled to over 38 cities in Indonesia, drawing thousands of car enthusiasts and experts. Nearly 100 individual awards have been given to the best displayed vehicles in each category.

In the meantime, MIME 2024 will arrange a display devoted to original equipment manufacturers (OEM) that will include the newest gadgets and developments in the car sector. This will feature a special section honoring the 2023 Malaysia Car of the Year winners as well as a display of new cars, some of which are electric.
The Malaysia Car of the Year (COTY) Awards will take place for the twentieth time in 2024. The annual award provides a platform for automotive enthusiasts and experts to recognize and celebrate Malaysia's best new cars, specifically those introduced to the market between August 1, 2023 and July 31, 2024.
Another new category for recognizing EV achievements is one for existing or soon-to-be-launched EV-friendly properties and their developers.
