Air Filter Experts K&N Are Making Face Masks Now

K&N, the good folks that make the high-performance reusable air filters for our vehicles and even Nascar, has now ventured into face masks. On the off chance that there’s something you need as a bona fide car guy during this COVID-19 pandemic, it’s this.

With their mastery in all things air filtration – particularly in high-performance applications where every bit of foreign particles can conceivably harm the engine – you can be sure that these face masks will protect you.

The main portion of the mask is made from Procool fabric, which K&N promises to be lightweight, breathable, and moisture-wicking, this helps to keep your face cool while wearing the face mask. K&N also used silver ions in the fabric to help “prevent the spread of bacteria” and decrease odour.

The K&N face masks likewise feature adjustable ear loops for better comfort, as well as an “action strap”, an additional strap connecting the ear loops at the back, which will allow you to hang the mask around your neck when not in use.

Much the same as their air filters for cars, the K&N facemask is also washable. It is now available for sale in either black or grey colours, priced at USD19.99 (approx. RM84) for a pack of two. If you’re interested, you can get them at K&N’s US website here.
