Delivery Riders Work Together To Repair Road

There are 20 food delivery riders from Kemaman, Terengganu, had contributed money to repaint the yellow warning lines for 50 local road bumps to help ensure the safety of other road users.

It is also understood that the yellow warning line on many local road bumps has faded. It is impossible to slow down in time without paying attention to the road bumps, especially when the delivery riders are delivering the meals.

Due to the faded road bumps, most of the motorcyclists overturned because the motorcycle did not brake in time, especially at night. This leads to not only the delivery rider sustaining injury due to the accident, but also the meals will be ruined.

The 20 food delivery riders raised funds together and used the freetime during the delivery of the food and divided the work among each other, to paint the road bumps. The action was approved by the Terengganu state government.

In addition, “Ikatan Silaturrahim Brotherhood” is a non-governmental organization that specializes in repairing potholes throughout Malaysia. This organization was established in 2007 by Malay movie star Azlan Sani Zawawi.

They have been silently contributing money to repair potholes throughout Malaysia for many years. The members of their organization often repair road holes in the middle of the night and the cost of repairing a pothole is about RM 100.

Malaysia’s Road Safety Department is also grateful for their contributions and we should also follow their actions.
