Subaru Forester Proves Good Structure Is Essential

Recently, a drive cam video surfaced online showing a Subaru Forester was hit by an unknown vehicle, while its was travelling on Persiaran Kewajipan.

During the accident, the Subaru Forester driver was from the mainroad of Subang USJ 2 (opposite of Segi College Subang Jaya) heading towards SS15, when an unknown vehicle that came up from Kesas Highway, crashed into it.

The impact of the crashed caused the Subaru Forester to overturn and fortunately the driver walked away with minor bruises and scratches.

This is mainly thanks to the Ring-shaped reinforcement frame that was made by high-tensile steel panels, that has been structurally redesigned for more efficient absorption from impacts in all directions.

We were surprised to see the photos of the Subaru Forester before it was towed away from the accident scene, and the structure was still intact.

Of course this alone wouldn't help to save lifes. Coupled with its airbags and Subaru Global Platform, as well as all of its other safety features, then only a life is saved. Well done Subaru!
