- The Volkswagen Taos, Premiered In South America
Volkswagen Taos, the first Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) for Volkswagen in the South American market has made its premiere in Argentina.
It was built in response to the fast-growing SUV segment in the aforementioned region in order to strengthen the company’s SUV offensive.
The development of the VW Taos focused on three factors, high quality technology, innovative design and top safety.

Its overall design can be described to be uncompromising. It has square wheel arches on the sides which portrays a sense of strength.

Exterior silhouette is of a common SUV, however at the same time the precise lines and essence give it an elegant appearance.
Moving into the interior, the Taos is a perfect vehicle for a family. It also comes with 10-color ambient lighting, which vibes out an interior atmosphere that is unique.
In the cockpit, also fitted are two large screens which support the VW Play multimedia platform. Besides that, a storage compartment for inductive smartphone charging is also present.
All in all, the Volkswagen Taos being completed in soft-touch materials with leather finishing on the dashboard and door panels, makes it ooze out with elements of sophistication.
Production of the Volkswagen Taos was at its plant in General Pacheco near Buenos Aires, South America. It will be made available there starting from the second quarter of this year.
