The first teaser sketch of the highly-anticipated Santa Cruz Sport Adventure Vehicle has recently been revealed by Hyundai. Focusing on the performance and design, the 2022 Santa Cruz will break a new ground within the SUV, Truck and Crossover segments that offer a new category of vehicle in the U.S. market.

The 2022 Santa Cruz will be scheduled for production at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) in Montgomery, Alabama this summer.

Hyundai features a bold yet polished design, efficient and powerful powertrain options, flexible open bed for gear, up-to-date connectivity and a highly manoeuvrable all-wheel drive platform for its upcoming release. This allows the vehicle to have a seamless driving experience in any situations - be it in urban or even adventure-focused environments.

“Santa Cruz, with its bold styling, breaks open all-new segment territory, both for Hyundai and the industry as a whole. Open-bed flexibility coupled with closed-cabin security meets the changing everyday needs of its adventure-oriented buyers, while powerful and efficient engines and superb manoeuvrability ensure it is a pleasure to drive in urban or off-road environments. Our customers will wonder just how they managed before owning one,” said Jose Munoz, president and CEO, Hyundai Motor North America.

The all-new Santa Cruz is set for its Digital World Premiere on April 15 2021 and will be live at hyundaiusa.com.
