Avoiding Paying Your Summons Because It's Too Expensive? PDRM Is Now Offering 50 Percent Discount!
Is this good news for traffic offenders who keep thousands of ringgit in police traffic summons receipts?
This is the time for you to pay off all your outstanding summonses as the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is offering a summons discount of up to 50 percent!
The traffic summons discount will be offered starting tomorrow (June 18) until July 18.
However, this discount offer of up to 50 percent is only offered for certain summonses.
"This discount does not include summons in court lawsuits, major offenses committed in 2021, heavy vehicle offenses and exhaust modification related offenses," said Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) director Datuk Azisman Alias.
So, many of you are probably wondering how to get this 50 percent discount during this lockdown period.
All you have to do is register through the official PDRM portal at [email protected] or for mobile phone users you can also download the MyBayar Saman application through Google Play Store, Apple Apps Store and Huawei Gallery.
Currently, all summonses can only be paid online.
In fact, during this campaign, all summons payment counters in the contingent, as well as the District Police Headquarters (IPD) will be closed in order to reduce the spread of Covid-19 infection.
PDRM is offering a discount of up to 50 percent solely to help the people who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to pay off all your summonses!
