One-Of-A-Kind Creation, The 6-Wheeler Mercedes X-Class Pickup Truck

One-off creation, the Mercedes X-Class pickup truck is a colossal six-wheeler that combines excess and power in an outstandingly vulgar package.

The entities responsible for this outrageous commissioning were the Dutch dealership, Classic Youngtimers, the folks behind the recent off-road versions of the Bentley Continental GT, Lamborghini Gallardo and Nissan GT-R.

Even though the original X-Class was believed to be an international failure, this six-wheeler modified version was recently sold by Classic Youngtimers for an undisclosed price tag.

Making it stand out by splashing it with a gold paint job, the creation of this Mercedes X-Class 6x6 was inspired by Mercedes’ own G63 AMG 6x6.

Dissecting the build, it started out as an X-Class 350d model with a brown exterior hue, black interior cabin and a 3.0-litre turbo diesel V6 engine, which has an output of 254 hp.

Then builders of this behemoth, featuring Carlex Design, modified it with a custom subframe, fitted an extra axle, lifted the stance by 4-inches and equipped some styling kits all around.

Fitted styling kits comprises a set of custom alloy off-road tyres and flared matte-black fenders, which gives the 6-wheeler X-Class a menacing and wide-bodied stance.

Furthermore, the front end can be seen fitted with the recognizable AMG GTR chromed out grille which has been paired with a chrome lower bumper trim to match.

At the rear end, the pickup truck features an extendable and detachable flatbed. This makes the 6x6 X-Class offer both an aesthetically pleasing design and practicality in its usage.

Diving inside the belly of the beast, its luxurious originality has been kept as its black leather upholstery remains, however, trademarking its uniqueness is the ‘6-Wheeler’ moniker on the dashboard.

Albeit sporting the characteristics and build of an off-road vehicle, this 6-wheeler X-Class’ beating heart has been left completely stock, meaning the mill cannot power the vehicle through the sand dunes like its muse, the G63 AMG 6x6 can endure.

Evidently, it is still a powerful rough terrain vehicle and this one-of-a-kind X-Class Mercedes truck being a humongous 6-wheeler will for sure be a head turner wherever it goes.
