TC Subaru Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Subaru vehicles in Malaysia, has introduced the Subaru XV in late 2017.

Currently, there are three variants available – the XV 2.0i, XV 2.0i-P and the XV GT Edition 2.0i-P. The prices are from RM 117,778 to RM 138,788, on-the-road excluding insurance and SST exemption.

According to the chart above, the 2.0i comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, halogen projector headlamps, remote control boot operation, single-zone automatic climate control, tilt and telescopic steering wheel adjustment, paddle shift, cruise control, X-Mode drive mode, and many more.

As for the 2.0i-P variant, it has the LED projector headlamps, remote control activation boot operation, auto headlamps, dual-zone automatic climate control, auto start/stop, auto wipers, pop-up headlamps washer, steering responsive headlights and automatic rain-sensing windshield upgraded to the standard features.

Meanwhile, the XV GT Edition 2.0i-P gets the GT Edition 17-inch alloy wheels, aerokit and roof spoiler, leather seats, 360-degree camera system and Apple Carplay/Android Auto infotainment system on top of the accessories featured in the 2.0i-P variant.

If compared to its competitors like the Mazda CX-30 SkyActiv G 2.0 and Toyota CH-R, the Subaru XV GT Edition is the most affordable model. The Subaru XV GT Edition also comes with the 7-speed CVT, which in return will consume less petrol when travelling long distances.
