New and relaxed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) announced, meaning good news for all citizens with two completed doses of Covid-19 vaccine injections.

From now on, individuals residing in Phase 1 of the National Rehabilitation Plan (NRP) states and have already received two doses of the vaccines are all allowed to board in one vehicle.

This means that there is no limit to the number of individuals in a vehicle and its determination is according to the full seating capacity of a vehicle.

In fact, the latest SOP also states that there is no longer a 10 km travel radius. However, it is still restricted in the same district.

That said, cross-state is prohibited except for long-distance couples, visiting children under the age of 18 and individuals who have attained consent from the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the police.

To rehash, Kuala Lumpur, Kedah, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor and Putrajaya are still in Phase 1 of NRP.

Details of the new SOP were informed by the National Security Council which was updated through the Telegram application last Saturday.

Remember, the easing of restrictions is meant for us to be able to continue our survival and even though the vaccines help but it does not protect us from the Coronavirus entirely.

So, we need to always be vigilant and always take into account the safety of ourselves, families and the masses before using any facilities that the government provides.
