- An Alarming Moment, Three-Month-Old Baby Locked In A Car
Panic ensues when a father found out that his three-month-old son was accidentally locked in a car at a location in Sibujaya, yesterday afternoon.
Upon receiving an emergency call about the incident at 4.52 pm, a team from the Sibu Jaya Fire and Rescue Station were sent to the location.
Head of the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM) said, “When arriving at the scene, a child was found locked inside a Perodua Myvi. Operators used iron rulers and iron rods to open the car door, but were unsuccessful," he said in a statement today.
The owner of the car, who is a 24-year-old man, asked a member from the fire brigade who was at the scene to break the car window.
"The car window was broken by using an iron rod to open the door. After the door was successfully opened, the victim's child was successfully removed," he concluded.
