Two people made headlines when their ride, a Hummer H2, was destroyed on fire along Seafield Tol, Subang Jaya yesterday. However, the driver managed to rescue himself and his female friend when he noticed something ‘unusual’ with the car before quickly pulling over.

The director of the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM), Selangor, Norazam Khamis, has confirmed that both victims did not suffer from any injuries and stressed their prompt action to pull over exit the car has brought off ugly possibilities.

“90 percent of the Hummer was engulfed in flame. We are still investigating the possible factors and causes of the incident”,  said Norazam.

Several photos of firemen putting off the fire have been circulating on the internet and triggered the talk of the town.
