Bermaz Auto Alliance Launched The 2021 New PEUGEOT 3008 & PEUGEOT 5008 In Malaysia

Bermaz Auto Alliance Sdn Bhd, the new sole distributor for the Peugeot brand in Malaysia, launched the latest The 2021 Peugeot 3008 and Peugeot 5008. Both of the New models are locally assembled at the Stellantis manufacturing plant in Gurun, Kedah.

Both models are available in one variant - Allure. The 2021 Peugeot 3008 1.6L allure is priced at RM 161,616.66, while the Peugeot 5008 1.6L allure is priced at RM 177,311.90, inclusive of the Sales Tax Reduction (SST) exemption. 

Body colours for both models are Amazonite Grey, Pearl White and Nera Black. At the same time, the Peugeot 3008 gets an additional Cuprite Brown, while the Peugeot 5008 gets the Emerald Crystal. 

The new Peugeot 3008 and Peugeot 5008 come with a five-Year or 100,000 km, whichever comes first Manufacturer Warranty and a three-year or 60,000 km, whichever comes first free maintenance.

Both models are powered by the 1.6-litre Twin Scroll Turbo High Pressure (THP) engine, which delivers a robust 165 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. The turbocharged engine is paired with a quick-shifting, six-speed automatic transmission sending its power to the front wheels.

The front end of the Peugeot 3008 & Peugeot 5008 has evolved towards a style as distinctive and unique as ever with a new frameless grille, gloss black side scoops, a painted tread plate new bumper design as standard. 

The front headlights have also been redesigned to be more aggressive and feature LED technology with cornering lamps, and newly upgraded 3D taillights feature full-LED technology at the rear. Other Exterior features include 18-inch Los Angeles Wheels on the 3008, 18-inch Detroit Alloy Wheels on the 5008, Hands-free Power Tailgate, Panoramic Sunroof, Advanced Keyless Entry and Parking Sensors.

On the interior, the difference between both models is the seating capacity. The PEUGEOT 3008 features a 5-Seater Configuration, whereas the PEUGEOT 5008 features a 7-Seater configuration. 

Both models feature Peugeot’s digital i-Cockpit® technology, a unique shape multi-function steering wheel and feature a new 10-inch High-Definition capacitive touchscreen colour display.

It also comes with seven elegant piano-styled "toggle switches" that allow direct and permanent access to the main comfort functions. New to both models is the wireless smartphone charging located at the centre console.

The new Peugeot 3008 and Peugeot 5008 comes with the latest driving aids and safety features to protect occupants and other road users. Technologies such as Visiopark 1, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Speed Limit Recognition, Blind Spot Monitoring, Advanced Grip Control and Hill Assist Descent Control (HADC) are available on both models.
