Owning Over Half Of The Credits, The Aston Martin DBX’s Record-Breaking Sales
Through the years, the SUVs have either been the top sellers or have shattered many sales records for most of the exclusive car brands.
Now, the same phenomenon is unfolding over at Aston Martin as their DBX SUV has surpassed from just being the most popular Aston to making up over 50 percent of the brand's total sales.
To shoot some numbers, since January, Aston Martin's total sales stand at 4,250 cars, and 2,186 of those were DBX models.
Owing to that, the brand projects that it will sell an estimated amount of 6,000 models before the year is done, and, by 2024 and 2025, they expect to see annual sales of around 10,000 units.
That said, for this year itself, the brand has nearly tripled its year-to-date revenues compared to the same period in 2020, which are currently at GBP 736.4 million (RM 4,138,720,096).
Notably, if Aston meets its 2024 and 2025 annual sales goal, that would net approximately GBP 2 billion in revenue (RM 11,240,768,484) and pre-tax earnings of GBP 500 million (RM 2,810,209,045).
Despite the promising figures, for enthusiasts who are more concerned with the brand’s products, fret not, there’s plenty of that to go around.
For instance, a more powerful Aston Martin DBX S model is reportedly coming with a V12 powered ticker, and around 2025, the brand's first EV is scheduled to arrive.
Then, in terms of their current build, the first customer example of the Aston Martin Valkyrie has finally been completed, and deliveries are expected to get underway in the weeks ahead.
All in all, considering that the DBX range will grow with high-performance versions, new body styles, and even a DBX hybrid, the future entailed for Aston Martin is far from bleak.
