Japanese eVTOL company SkyDrive drew up a contract with Suzuki Motor Corp in pursuing research and development of a dual seating flying car powered by electric.

According to Suzuki, the project will become the fourth mobility business after having autocars, bikes and motorboats. The company is also planning to invest 104.4 billion rupees (RM5.78 billion) to the India market as EVs and batteries get involved in making.

For Suzuki, the partnership will add 'flying cars' as a fourth mobility business, in addition to automobiles, motorcycles and outboard motors, the statement said.

Along with most car brands in the pursuit of making EVs, at once we get to expect a flying car anytime soon on a full-scale production.

SkyDrive has operated a few of its businesses in Japan running multinational IT NEC Corporation and a trading house Itochu firm based in Tokyo since 2018.
