Eligible for sale in all 50 states, Kia America has announced its first dedicated all-electric model’s pricing, the 2022 EV6.

To break it down, at the heart of the EV6 is a high-density lithium-ion battery pack available in two sizes, 58.0 kWh and 77.4 kWh.

As such, the 58.0 kWh setup comes with a starting tag of USD 40,900 (RM 171,228) and a net price of USD 33,400 (RM 139,829), after the $7,500 (RM 31,399) federal electric vehicle tax credit.

Whereas, the EV6 with the 77.4 kWh setup starts at USD 47,000 (RM 196,765) and tags at USD 39,500 (RM 165,367) after the federal tax credit.

On top of that, all the 2022 EV6 prices released exclude destination charges, which adds on USD 1,215 (RM 5,086) to the main prices.

Offered in three variants, the Light trim gets a rear-wheel-drive system while Wind and GT-Line trims in rear-wheel-drive and Dual Motor e-AWD systems.

Depending on the configurations, the 2022 EV6 offers up to 320 hp and an EPA rated all-electric range (AER) of up to 310 miles (499 km).

In detail, the RWD Light trim packing the 58.0 kWh battery paired to a 168-kW rear motor generates 167 hp and an AER of 232 miles (373 km).

Next, the RWD Wind and GT-Line trims harbouring the 77.4 kWh battery with a 168-kW rear motor produces 255 hp and an AER of 310 miles (499 km).

Lastly, for the Dual Motor e-AWD Wind and GT-Line trims sporting the 77.4 kWh battery with a 74-kW front motor and a 165-kW rear motor yields 320 hp and an AER of 274 miles (441 km).

With that, the specific pricings are as such, RWD Light at USD 40,900 (RM 171,207), RWD Wind at USD 47,000 (RM 196,742) and RWD GT-Line at USD 51,200 (RM 214,323).

While Dual Motor e-AWD Wind at USD 50,900 (RM 213,067) and Dual Motor e-AWD GT-Line at USD 55,900 (RM 233,997).
