Approximately 400,000 travellers are expected to commute through Malaysia's two land borders with Singapore and Malaysia government declared to waive toll charges starting today until April 7, 2022.

The occurrence put both smiles and tears toward locals as many of Malaysians in Singapore eagerly waited at Woodlands checkpoint to pass through the border.

As the last two years Malaysians had to put hold on their returning, some even walked pass through the gate across Johor Causeway.

Starting today, fully vaccinated travellers may return to Malaysia with any kind of transportation without being quarantined or applying Covid-19 test as previously some may return to Malaysia under Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) scheme.
