With an assembly plant in Serendah, Selangor, they could easily begin production of a compact electric car to compete with the Perodua Axia. As a result, the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV has been spotted in Malaysia and has recently been spotted on test at the Tan Chong Serendah factory.
