Kia EV6, Charging Levels Clarifies

Taking a major milestone towards developing EV infrastructure in the country, Kia India is on the move providing charging solutions to all EV owners by introducing the new fast charger. 

Equipped with 150 kWh power, the new fast charger can provide 10 to 80 percent of charging within 42 minutes depending on which model. 

Here’s the charging levels for KIA EV6: 

Using the slow 3kW for zero to 100 percent is roughly around hours. This level of charging is most needed for top-ups or in an emergency. Hence, the accessibility of the standard outlet means you must spare long hours in charging time. 

What about the rapid 50kW that takes zero to 80 percent? Well, it requires approximately over an hour where you can settle for dinner, or a pit stop during extended road trip while letting it to charge. 

Lastly, the Ultra-Fast 250kW from 10 to 80 percent in just under twenty minutes. This is when you can chill and have a latte while your car gets a couple of hundred miles of range back with full capacity.
