- Nissan Leaf To Be Phased Out Soon
The legendary Nissan Leaf, an all electric vehicle is about to leave the market and facing its phased-out season soon.
Currently, the soon to be ramp-off model is one and only brand that Nissan sells until a new electric crossover SUV, Ariya coming to set its foot in the market later this year.

Made its first appearance in 2011, the model is recognized as the first EV to reach U.S. market yet sluggish in terms of sales.
The 2022 Leaf offers 226 estimated miles in its larger battery and 149 in the base version meanwhile premium EVs at this era are looking into 400 to 500 miles of range.

As reported, although the Leaf has been part of Nissan's U.S. line-up for many years, less than 175,000 units have been sold.
According to Automotive News, it stated that production of the Leaf is to be phased out sometime in the mid-decade.
