Padang Besar – Hatyai Shuttle Train Operation Is Back to Business Starting Today!

Good news to all!

After two years of break, the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) Hat Yai-Padang Besar Shuttle Train is resuming its operation starting today, July 15!

As announced before, the shuttle train pause its operation due to Movement Control Order (MCO) previously on 18 March 2020 to battle COVID-19 outbreak.

According to KTM Bhd’s website, the train service recommends two trips daily between Padang Besar and Hatyai.

On top of that, bear in mind that the shuttle train service is run by Thailand’s SRT, not Malaysian’s ETS.

Roughly, the journey takes an hour as State Railway of Thailand (SRT) will be picking up passengers from Padang Besar station in Perlis to its Hat Yai station in Thailand.
