- Polestar 3’s Official Prices Revealed, Slated For The High-End E-SUV Segment
![]()
Last year in December, when Polestar teased its first electric SUV, the Polestar 3, it was shy of a few details namely the pricings, but now not anymore as they have been revealed.
Disclosed at the Automotive News Europe Congress by Polestar’s Chief Executive Officer, Thomas Ingenlath, the e-SUV’s pricings slots in between the Polestar 1 and the Polestar 2.
It will start at EUR 75,000 (RM 341,626), however, opting out for the fully decked-out option, the price will increase to EUR 110,000 (RM 501,258).

As such, the Polestar 3 will compete against other high-end electric SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz EQS, BMW iX and Rivian R1S.
Whereas, comparing it to Tesla, the Polestar 3’s price will be positioned somewhere in between the Model Y and its newer Model X.
Besides the pricings, in terms of the specifications the CEO didn’t reveal much, but he did give a little insight on what can be expected.

The polestar 3 is said to underpin a dual-motor drivetrain, a battery pack ranging up to 372 miles (599 km) and a LiDAR-based autonomous driving mode.
Other than that, the Polestar 3’s official reveal is planned for October, with pre-orders expected to follow shortly after. Its production will begin in early 2023.

Elsewhere, Polestar is currently in the works to expand its electric vehicle line-up further with a new SUV and sedan.
A Polestar 4 SUV should arrive in 2023, while a Polestar 5 sedan will arrive in 2024, claimed the Swedish automaker.
