- PLUS "Smartlane" Locations Nationwide To Ease Congestion

With Deepavali fast approaching come Monday coupled with the long school holidays from 22st October (Saturday) till 26th October (Wednesday), PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) expects a huge surge in traffic volume.
Datuk Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi, PLUS Chief Operating Officer said, "We expect as much as 1.9 million vehicles to use our highway networks every day during this Deepavali holiday starting on October 21 later evening. This is as compared to the usual 1.7 million vehicles a day on normal days. As such, PLUS released the Travel Time Advisory (TTA) schedule to help people plan their journeys as well as help us distribute traffic moving in various destinations. This TTA schedule can also be referred to on PLUS website www.plus.com.my as well as PLUS social media channels."
In view of this, PLUS will take this opportunity to activate the “Smartlane” initial testing phase for feasibility studies purposes.
