KTMB Union Wants YB Anthony Loke As Transport Minister - Based On Past Performance

In a media statement on 25 November, Abdul Razak Bin Mohd Hassan, President of The Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) Workers’ Union congratulated Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on his appointment as Malaysia's Prime Minister. He goes on to add that the KTMB Union would like Anwar to reappoint YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook as transport minister.
As per his statement, Abdul Razak Hassan said that the Union is confident in Anthony Loke’s leadership capability and can improve the country’s public transport system based on his good track record when he was leading the ministry during Pakatan Harapan helm from May 2018 to February 2020.
Abdul Razak goes on to add that a good leadership is required as opposed to what is happening now whereby there are constant complaints daily with regards to public transport services be it towards KTMB, Parsarana or other public transport service providers nationwide. “We believe Anthony Loke would be able to transform the public transport system which will be beneficial to all”.
To sum it all, Abdul Razak says, “YB Anthony Loke is a man who pays attention to the welfare of workers and KTMB as a whole which results in the best service provided to the users.
