- The Hyundai Electric UTV, A Space-Esque Buggy Concept
Among all the Hyundai concept vehicles that are currently in its repertoire, this one in particular is quite interesting.
Designed by Roman Ignatowski for Hyundai, this electric utility terrain vehicle (e-UTV) is suitable for both the concrete jungle and the rugged off-road.
Aesthetically pleasing, it looks like it belongs on the moon instead of earth, with its overall matte black paint scheme and clean contours.
Then, its modular and minimalistic four-door body adopts an open Jeep-like design, with slit-like light strips used for the head and tail lights.
Inside, this futuristic buggy has four seats with just enough cargo space at the back for a quick trip out around the city or up the mountains.
The seats are in white, very thin- and skeletal-looking at that, and all three, except for the driver’s seat, can be folded and out of sight.
Uniquely, its layout can be modified with after-market parts, says the designer, as there are plenty of modularity options to configure the vehicle as per need.
Everything right from the roof, hood, and interior space are all customisable. For example, it can be a dune buggy if one desires it to be, or a mud-slider even.
Specifically for the roof and hood, these two sections can be customized to have solar panels for improved battery power storage.
All in all, with a design unlike others out there, this Hyundai e-UTV concept would definitely turn around a few heads if it were to make it to production.
