2023 Fuel Price Updates – January 12-18: No Changes, RON 97 Remains At RM3.35

As announced by the Ministry of Finance today, the retail prices of all fuels in Malaysia for the second week of January 2023 remains unchanged from the previous week. These prices will last from Jan 12 to Jan 18, 2023.

Premium RON 97 sees no changes at RM3.35 per litre, as does RON 95 which continues at the ceiling price of RM2.05 per litre that was set by the government in Feb 2021. Also unchanged are all three blends of diesel available in Malaysia. Starting with Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends, these continue retailing at RM 2.15 per litre, whereas Euro 5 B7 resumes with the same RM2.35 per litre figure as well.

As usual, these prices take effect from midnight tonight until the next price announcement from the Ministry next Wednesday - Jan 18, 2023. This is the second edition of the weekly fuel pricing format for this year, making the 209th since this weekly ‘Automatic Pricing Mechanism’ format was introduced and enforced at the start of 2019.
